The Park City Museum
A project of PARK CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY INC DBA PARK CITY MUSEUM
You’ve seen Park City today, now discover our past. Silver Saloons and Snow.
Prospectors discovered silver in 1868 and mine owners made fortunes, while thousands of miners simply made a living. After silver prices declined, Park City reinvented itself as a ski resort town. The Park City Museum continues to preserve, protect, and promote Park City's history through interactive exhibits, engaging programming, and community outreach.
Come discover more of our town’s unique history at the “not to be missed” Park City Museum! Explore the original territorial jail, learn about the dark and dangerous mining profession, climb aboard an original car from the world’s only “Skier Subway”, swing by the neighborhood market and take in a show at the Egyptian Theatre.
Every bit helps us in our effort to preserve our town's unique history. Join us in our efforts!
Also keep in mind the benefits of annual membership, which gives you free annual admission to the Park City Museum and exclusive invitations to events, private ski tours, member only hikes to Park City’s historic sites, and much, much more.
