We save local open spaces in Park City and Summit County, Utah. The money we raise here stays here!
Do you love Park City's open spaces? Do you use the trails in Round Valley and at McPolin Farmlands?
Take a stand and save land by supporting Summit Land Conservancy.
The Summit Land Conservancy works in partnership with landowners to permanently protect the remaining agricultural lands, viewsheds, animal habitats, waterways, and rangelands in Park City and Summit County, Utah.
The Summit Land Conservancy focuses its resources and attentions strictly on Summit County. For many years Summit County was one of the fastest growing counties in America. This growth provided many opportunities, but many people feared that we would lose the open spaces that defined our community character. The Summit Land Conservancy was born from the desire to protect these important landscapes.
The Summit Land Conservancy holds 24 conservation easements on over 2,600 acres of open space, and is currently working on projects to save an additional 3,000 acres of land.
The Summit Land Conservancy is the first accredited land trust in Utah.
We encourage you to become a member of the Summit Land Conservancy today to help protect the open spaces, the farms and ranches, the watersheds and wildlife habitats, and the trails that make Summit County the special place we all cherish.
Your contribution means that the open spaces we currently enjoy stay open and accessible and that more of the beautiful landscapes of Summit County will be permanently protected.
