Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is excited to be celebrating our 35th year of providing mentors to thousands of kids in Utah!

In 2012, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah served nearly 4,500 children volunteers and families by providing and supporting 1,514 kids ages 6-17 with caring adult mentors.

As we charge into our 35th year, we maintain focus on the safety, quality and sustainability of our matches and continue to measure the impact we are having on our children, our mentors and our community.

We are changing lives for the better, forever! Results show that our kids stay in school, make healthy choices, feel better about themselves, and become active members of our community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah partners with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program achieving:

• Higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships

• Avoidance of risky behaviors

• Educational achievement
